Frequently asked
How do you verify that an organization qualifies?
We look at publicly available information: your organization's website, charity register listing, or equivalent documentation. If your country recognizes you as a nonprofit, charity, or humanitarian organization, that is sufficient. We do not ask for financial statements or tax returns.
Is the 50% discount permanent or does it expire?
The discount stays active as long as your organization qualifies. We do a periodic eligibility check, typically annually. If you are still a registered nonprofit or humanitarian organization, the discount continues. No bait-and-switch, no surprise price hikes.
What if my organization is a social enterprise? Do I still qualify?
It depends. If your primary mission is social or environmental impact, and you can demonstrate that, you likely qualify. Social enterprises that are profit-first with a side of impact probably do not. When in doubt, apply and we will have the conversation.
Can individuals qualify, or is this only for organizations?
The discount is designed for registered organizations: charities, NGOs, nonprofits, and similar entities. If you are an individual researcher or volunteer doing impactful work, reach out anyway and we will see what we can do.
Why not just make it free for nonprofits?
We considered it, but half price creates a healthier dynamic. Free products tend to get signed up for and forgotten. When someone pays, even at a discount, they have made an active decision to use the tool. That leads to better support, more useful feedback, and a relationship built on mutual commitment.
What about religious organizations or political groups?
Religious organizations that operate charitable programs such as food banks, shelters, or education typically qualify. Political parties and campaign organizations do not. If you are somewhere in between, apply and we will review it case by case.
Can the discount terms change?
Yes. The For Good program, including the discount percentage and eligibility criteria, may change over time. Any changes apply to both new and existing discount recipients. If we adjust the program, we will give reasonable notice before changes take effect on existing subscriptions. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
What happens if my organization no longer qualifies?
If during a periodic re-verification your organization no longer meets the criteria, the discount will be removed at your next billing cycle and standard pricing will apply. We will not retroactively charge you. If your circumstances change, we ask that you let us know.
Will our files be used to train AI models?
No. We never use your files, filenames, share metadata, or account data to train AI models. Your content stays private and is only processed for uploading, storing, and delivering it to your recipients.
