What is a Comfyfile Workspace?
A workspace is a shared environment where a team of people can manage files together. All members share a single storage pool and can create, manage, and track share links from one place. Each workspace has its own members, shares, and settings — separate from your personal account.
How is a workspace different from a personal account?
Personal accounts are for individual use. Workspaces are for teams. With a workspace, you get a shared storage pool (instead of per-person quotas), member management with roles (owner and member), and per-workspace analytics. You can switch between your personal account and any workspace with one click.
Can workspace members see each other's shares?
Yes. All workspace members can see and manage shares created within the workspace. This makes it easy to track what's been shared, revoke access, or extend expiry — all from one place.
How does the shared storage pool work?
Every workspace has a single storage quota that all members draw from. On the Small plan, that's 50 GB shared across up to 5 members. On Max, it's 2 TB. There's no per-person allocation — the team uses the pool together.
Can I change my workspace plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your workspace plan at any time through your workspace settings. When you upgrade, the new storage and member limits take effect immediately. When you downgrade, limits apply at the next billing cycle.
What happens if I remove a member from my workspace?
Removed members lose access to the workspace immediately. They can no longer create shares or view workspace analytics. Any shares they created within the workspace remain active unless specifically revoked by an owner.
