Common questions about Vault
How is Vault different from regular uploads?
Regular uploads are temporary they expire and get deleted. Vault files are permanent. They stay until you manually remove them, and you can create unlimited share links from them without re-uploading.
How much storage do I get?
Pro plans include permanent Vault storage as part of the plan quota. Enterprise plans offer custom storage. You can manage and free up space by removing files you no longer need. Check the Plans page for current storage quotas.
Can I set different expiry dates for each share link?
Yes. Each share link created from a Vault file is independent. You can set unique expiry dates, download limits, and passcodes for every link.
What happens to existing share links if I delete a Vault file?
You can only delete a Vault file when all its active share links have expired or been removed. This prevents accidental data loss for recipients.
Is there a file size limit for Vault?
Pro users can upload files up to 5 GB each. Enterprise users can upload larger files — contact us for specifics. The same per-file limits apply as your plan's maximum.
Can I use Vault on the free plan?
Vault is available on Pro and Enterprise plans. Free accounts can use temporary file sharing with auto-expiry. Upgrade to Pro to unlock permanent storage.
