Security
Is my data really secure?
Yes. All communication with Comfyfile happens over HTTPS. We use PBKDF2 password hashing, short-lived download tokens, and automatic deletion when your expiry or download limit is reached. Files are never stored permanently.
Limits
What is the maximum file size I can upload?
Anonymous users can upload files up to 2 GB each, with a 4 GB total per session. Free accounts can upload files up to 2 GB each, with a 4 GB total per session. Pro users can upload files up to 10 GB each, with a 20 GB total per session.
Privacy
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required. You can upload and share files anonymously, which protects your privacy and makes sharing instant. A free account unlocks larger limits and more features.
Storage
How long are files stored?
Anonymous uploads last up to 24 hours or until the download limit is reached, whichever comes first. Free users can store files up to 7 days. Pro users can set expiry up to 183 days.
Analytics
Can I track who downloaded my files?
Yes. You can see download counts, timestamps, and status. IP addresses are anonymized to protect recipient privacy while still giving you useful activity insights.
Security
What happens if someone tries to hotlink my files?
Hotlinking is prevented. Download links use dynamic, short-lived tokens that expire quickly, so direct links cannot be reused or shared beyond your control.

Yes. Pro users get longer storage up to 183 days, larger file limits with files up to 10 GB each, priority support, bulk operations, and no watermark.
